Theatre and Art

The hall has hosted both professional theatre companies and local amateur dramatic groups. It has a small stage for productions as well as changing facilities. It is a fantastic venue for art exhibitions and we charge very reasonable rates.

Parties & Live Music

There is an attractive space for large parties (up to 140) but smaller events can be catered for in our front hall. We have an Events Licence until 0100am. Some age restrictions apply.

Welcome to Solva Memorial Hall.

With its sheltered harbour, sandy beaches, coastal walks, colourful shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants Solva has much to offer. Situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park the village is steeped in history. Today it is a very popular tourist destination. Solva has something for everyone and the Memorial Hall, set in the middle of the upper half of the village, hosts a variety of social, theatrical and community events.

Lower Solva has three pubs, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, an antique shop, gift shop and pottery shop. Upper Solva has one pub, a general convenience store and post office, and two suppliers of locally caught lobster, crab and fish. It is a friendly, busy, vibrant place.

The Memorial Hall is busy all year round: from scarecrow trails to WI meetings, art exhibitions to duck races, patchwork classes to weekly coffee mornings, bingo to Sunday school, pilates, theatre and monthly cinema. At the heart of the village is Solva Memorial Hall, a local venue for everyone to enjoy.

The Hall offers an excellent space for the perfect wedding reception, at reasonable cost. Located just a few metres from St Aidan's church and the beautiful Parc Y Capel village green, you'll be hard pushed to find a venue that is better value for money.
